The paramount chief of Nadroga Na Ka Levu, Ratu Kinijoji Nanovo Vosailagi, 89, has died

He was installed on August 7, 2015 as the ninth Na Ka Levu in a simple ceremony involving a church service
and a special prayer of blessings.

Previously the installition was done in a big ceremony.
Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort general manager Craig Powell said it was a sad day for the whole province of Nadroga/Navosa.
“The owners, Board of Directors for Fiji Resorts Limited, staff and management of Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa are deeply saddened to learn of his passing and we will miss Ratu Kinijoji Nanovo Vosailagi very much,” said Mr Powell.
He added that Ratu Kinijioji left behind a legacy of great achievement and his commitment to the community and his province.
“Our hearts go out to his family and people during this time of sadness and we hope he will find peace in Heaven with our lord and savior,” he said.
The late Ratu Kinijoji was very supportive of Government development initiatives.
He is survived by his three children Bulou Lele, Ratu Kini and Ratu Waka and grand children.
